“I will always cherish my time in ESQ because it forever changed my life. It was truly the beginning of me becoming a responsible young man in life.”
My joining experience began with mixed emotions. I didn't know the expectations or if I could accomplish them. However, after a few weeks of joining, I began to change my mindset. I developed a better understanding of myself and the young men that were in line with me. Moreover, I understood the vision of ESQ for my life as a young man. I enjoyed learning from the brothers that pledged my line. They were always serious about the vision and mission of ESQ. Overall, I built valuable friendships with my brothers that were life-changing experiences.

I obtained a B.A. in Sociology from VSU. ESQ’s vision for me was to make sure I learned how to use my problem-solving skills when life issues became challenging as a young black male. I continue to apply all the skills I learned throughout my life.

“ESQ really showed me what a Brotherhood is about. Much more than just friendship.”
I started my journey as a photographer, honing my skills and capturing precious moments for clients. Eventually, my passion and dedication led me to become the proud owner of my own photography business. It was a remarkable achievement that allowed me to express my creativity and turn my hobby into a successful profession.

But that was not all. Alongside my photography business, I also took on the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in two other companies. With my financial expertise and keen eye for detail, I was able to contribute to the growth and stability of these organizations. It was a challenging yet fulfilling role that allowed me to diversify my skills and broaden my business acumen.

After years of hard work and dedication, I decided to embark on a new chapter in my life. I made the choice to retire and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Now, I have the luxury of spending my days with my beautiful wife, Greta, whom I have been happily married to for 11 years. We have built a strong and loving relationship, cherishing the time we have together.
